SOLAR:

An incentive of $2.00 per watt (up to a maximum of 3000 watts) based on panel nameplate capacity for grid tied installations within Southeast’s service territory.  Only residential services qualify. 

A maximum of $6000 will be paid per installation based on capacity.
 
A maximum of $50,000 will be available for rebates in 2008 (with State of Colorado partnership).

Qualifying facilities must sign and fulfill requirements of Southeast’s Interconnection Agreement.

WIND:

An incentive of $2.00 per watt based on nameplate capacity times a factor of .30 will be paid for grid tied installations within Southeast’s service territory.  Only residential services qualify.

A maximum of $2000 will be paid per installation based on capacity. 

A maximum of $10,000 will be available for rebates in 2008.

Qualifying facilities must sign and fulfill requirements of Southeast’s Interconnection Agreement.

Energy Policy Act

The 2006 Energy Policy Act allows tax credits for solar water heating and photovoltaic systems.
