Southeast Colorado Power Association Scholarship
Southeast Colorado Power Association will be offering three $1,000 scholarships to students whose parents are members of the association.
Qualifying requirements for all scholarships listed below:
Tri-State Generation and Transmission Scholarship
Tri-State Generation and Transmission is offering one $1,000 scholarships to eligible students.
Basin Electric Scholarship
In addition, Basin Electric will be awarding a $1000 scholarship to one student in the Southeast Colorado Power Association member territory. With this application, students need to have maintained at least a 3.8 grade point average. Complete the Basin Electric Scholarship application in its entirety.
Qualifying requirements for these scholarships are as follows:
- Student’s parents must be a member of Southeast Colorado Power Association.
- The student must be a graduating senior for the 2020-2021 school year.
- Student must plan to attend a two or four year college.
Along with the student’s application, we need copies of their school transcript, letters of recommendation and a short letter outlining your goals, stating why they feel that they deserve the scholarship and what their major will be in school. All applications must have a signature and Applicants are also asked to submit a current, high resolution digital photo to Debbie Howard at debbieh@secpa.com with their application.
All eligible students may apply for any or all three of the above-described scholarships. When applying for the Southeast Colorado Power Association scholarships or the Tri-State scholarships, use the SECPA Scholarship Application. If applying for the Basin Scholarship, use the Basin Application.
