Attention members, please see the Credit Card Payment Policy Update Notice below:

New Credit Card Payment Eligibility

Effective with April usage billed on May 5, 2025, SECPA will continue to accept credit card payments from:

  • Residential service members
  • Non-residential members with service connections below 50 kVA

Important Changes

Members with electric services of 50 kVA or above (including large commercial and industrial accounts) and all irrigation services will no longer be eligible to make payments by credit card. These members must use alternative payment methods such as cash, checks, electronic checks, or bank drafts.

Why We're Making This Change

These changes help us:

  • Reduce the financial burden of credit card processing fees
  • Minimize financial risk and administrative costs
  • Ensure more efficient use of SECPA's resources
  • Maintain service integrity across our membership

If you have questions about how this policy affects your account or need assistance with alternative payment methods, please contact our customer service team.

Thank you for your understanding and continued membership with SECPA.

Sincerely, Southeast Colorado Power Association

These margins are used by the cooperative as capital to operate the business for a period of time.
