Southeast Colorado Power Association (SECPA) gives scholarships to area high school Seniors whose parents are members.​

SECPA offers ten $1,000 scholarships.  And through Tri-State, an additional $1,000 scholarship is available.  Eligible applicants must be a Senior graduating in 2026 who plans to attend a two or four-year college, trade or other non-traditional secondary educational institution.

The completed SECPA/TRI-STATE application form must also have a school transcript, letter of recommendation, and a short essay on the benefits of cooperative membership.​

In addition, this year Basin Electric will be awarding a $2,500 scholarship to one student in the SECPA member territory. Must apply for Basin scholarship using the Basin scholarship application.
